Have you ever wanted to be rich? Or famous? Or perhaps even own a car/house in Singapore?

Becoming rich or famous are not the reasons why I started my own web store. You may be thinking "That's definitely bullshit." Of course all businesses are profit motivated but I really started my own web store simply because I got frustrated with blog shops that do not have sizes.

Most blog shops offer clothing sized between UK 6 - 8 or free sized. With all the preserved food we eat today and the lack of exercise in our hectic lifestyles (or simply epic laziness), most of us are rather blessed to have a little bit of extra weight here and there, better than having no food to eat right?
I'm not your typical slim and tall Singaporean girl. (I had my height taken today  during a medical exam for uni with a machine that taps your head to gauge your height. I am approximately 161cm.) My height is average and my size is not big or small just somewhere in between.

In fact, at the beginning I was really afraid that I would not be suitable to model clothes because of my shape and size. Afterall, all the blogshops who advertise for models require you to be of at least 163cm and be UK8 at the most. Naturally it made me feel very self conscious and I wanted to lose weight very badly. I resorted to skipping carbs and eating fruit only meals. I've even stopped drinking milk tea and now I drink tea free of creamer and have very low or zero sugar content now. That's a really big sacrifice for me, I love my bubble teas! I'm a total addict! This has helped me shave about 3kg but I still am about UK10 in size.

My weight before this 'eat healthy' scheme was hovering between 56 to 57kg, normally I am about 50 - 52kg. Most people tell me that I really don't look that heavy, maybe they are being very kind or it could be the weight of the leftover muscles I had developed during my Triathlon days.

September 2011: I'm looking really tanned here and my arms are more defined than they are now. Face also, way less meaty. The guy on my left is my boyfriend, who also has since put on weight. LOL. He claims it's army that has caused the weight gain.

57kg is the heaviest I've ever been in my life and I am not sure why I've put on 5kg within a few short months. It could be because I worked 14 hour night shifts for 5 months twice a week along with 3 other day shifts weekly and it altered my eating habits and exercise regime. By regime I mean completely not exercising due to the lack of time, energy or motivation. I eventually completely stopped my trainings and kept eating as though I were training so the extra sugar became fats. (I've stopped dieting already because it's just too difficult. Too much good food around but have not gained weight since. )

I couldn't find clothes online that would fit me for a reasonable price. The most expensive clothes on tallas is $26 which includes free normal postage! You may think if it fits UK10 then how can it fit a UK 6? Worry not because most of our apparel are stretchable to give the perfect fit for a variety of sizes!
