Haven't blogged in a long time! Finally went out after ages!

Mine are the green nails hers is the nudish pink that she is sooo obsessed about.
And she always says she wants to eat my nails cos they look rly edibly round like m&m's!! Do they?
Only have a short two week break before school reopens for the new year.. 2012! The year the Mayans fear. Wonder how things will end up. Feel like spending all my money before it all ends. But it is pretty silly to believe in some prediction made all based on the naked eye of the ancient Mayans or is it?
Still vividly remember Dr. Benjamin an external English language facilitator hired by my secondary school to help boost our O level results. She really is an amazing teacher. I'm not sure how she did it but she made me enjoy English lessons for once. Perhaps it was her interesting approach to teaching. Between our assignments she would tell us a story and she is the best story teller ever!! I think she'd beat J.K Rowling at a book reading. Honest to God, she is THAT good.
She told us that the Mayans have a calendar so accurate it isn't like our current calendar where we have to add a day every 4 years. I clearly remember her enthusiasm about the impressiveness of the Mayans. She asked the crowd of us, "So how do you think they made their own calendar?" Being typical Singaporean kids, the silence was deafening. We all kept still in our seats, looking up toward this burly built Punjab lady for the answer to this very intriguing question. "The Mayans had bulit a pyramid like structure like the Egyptians except it had a pleateau for a the tip. These ancient people would go up there in the night and study the stars with their naked eyes." She placed her index to the corner of her enlarged eye. Freak!! These Mayans are brilliant! The recorded the astrological changes and eventually came up with a friggin calendar that ends in 2012... DANG DANG DANG!!!!
Okay my point is.. if the world is really ending then I want to quit school and laze around. If it doesn't then I'll only be one year behind right? A one year lag in exchange for the last year of my life is quite a good deal.
On a lighter note, Happy Christmas y'all! ( I don't say Merry cos I still wanna go to Hogwarts)
