HAIR EXTENSIONS 101
Sunday, October 17, 2010 | 0 Comment |
As promised, here I will let you know why you should/should not have hair extensions.

Pros
1. Instantly longer hair.
2. Look more appealing.

I always felt that chicks with longer hair seem to have much more sex appeal compared to those with short hair. Only certain people like Vicky Becks can still look smokin' with that bob.

In fact, she's so smokin' hot that I was insipred to cut off my extremely long almost touching my bottom hair....

This was when it grew out a bit already. (Soccer finals '09)

The sex appeal with short hair is practically ZERO. I looked like a boy so much that the canteen aunties called me 'Boy' TWICE.

Cons
1. Itchy scalp (The most immediate effect)
2. Sleeping difficulties (Initially)
3. Expensive
4. Hard to wash you hair
5. Makes your head really heavy

As for my hair, I got it done at Bugis. There are many stores there but I went to the one beside another hair extension stall on the upper floor. It's on the left. Inside there are many photos of celebrities who've used their services, including Joanne Peh.

I sincerely urge you to think twice before getting hair extensions done because I was a noob and I had no one telling me what type to get.

My hair extensions cost:

A dollar per strand; 50 free 15 which is super ex because there are 100 for 100 deals (low quality). My voluminous hair needed 250 + 15x5 = 325 and STILL INSUFFICIENT.

Most importantly, you should check for split ends before allowing these persuasive blood sucking hair extension people attach it to your head. I paid a high price however, the hair quality is HORRIBLE. It felt really really smooth but that's just before you wash it. No matter what hair saving products I use the hair is still extremely dry and extremely resistant to styling with hair tongs!

I've tried snipping the spilt ends off but more come back even when I use hair masks etc
I don't even style it with tongs.

THINK CAREFULLY!
